Region Notes
Located in the heart of the Muscadet appellation around the village of Monnières. This is a wine region known for its soils of flint, sand, marl-limestone over clay from which its bold flavours come. Domaine des Loges is a family estate passed down from generation to generation since 1789. Gwenaël and Benjamin Barre are brothers in life and united at work. This 40-hectare wine property enjoys a maritime climate due to its proximity to the Atlantic Ocean. Temperatures are mild year-round with hot and humid summers and plenty of sunshine, with ample rain in the winter months.
