How it’s Made
Owner operated and based in the heart of Nova Scotia, the Bulwark Cider team is dedicated to a common unifying goal: authentic, natural, delicious cider. Germain Bergeron, owner of the cider house, is also a winemaker and owner of Muwin Estate Wines. Unlike many mass-produced ciders and lite lagers, Bulwark focuses on full juice fermentation — meaning they don’t dilute the juice to get a low alcohol product.
“You can tell that it has been fermented, which was critical to our product.” says Bergeron.
Bergeron said each can of the non-alcoholic cider contains roughly 72 calories and about one-third the amount of sugar as a can of cola.
