Tasting Notes
A beautiful pale yellow robe with silver highlights. A fine nose with notes of yuzu, bergamot, lemongrass & flower honey. On the palate, the honeyed, tangy & fruity attack is nicely balanced by the hint of bitterness on the finish.
Sauvignon Blanc from Bordeaux
Bordeaux is where Sauvignon Blanc originated and it’s very old. The Bordeaux Blanc from Chateau Grand Billard is a light and fruity style that is aged in stainless steel (some Bordeaux Blancs are blended with Semillon and can see a little time in oak). Typical characteristics of this style are big flavours and aromas of citrus, grapefruit, lemon, gooseberry and lime along with grass, freshly-wet concrete, honey, passionfruit and honeysuckle flower.
