Loxton Shiraz (De-alcoholized)

Tasting Notes

Crimson in colour with purple hues. A full flavoured Shiraz with notes of red fruit, blackcurrant, dark cherry, chocolate and spiced oak on the nose. Bold ripe berry fruit on the palate and soft tannins with a sweet vanilla spice finish.

How it’s Made

The fruit was crushed and de-stemmed, then fermented on oak at cooler temperatures of 18 – 22C for 5 – 7 days. Fermenting at cooler temperatures allows the fruit flavours to be nurtured and enables retention of varietal characteristics. Post fermentation, we use the latest spinning cone technology, working at low temperatures to gently remove the alcohol and to ensuring the wine maintains its delicate fruit flavours.
