VANTOROSSO

Veneto, Italy

Vantorosso was born out of a friendship between rally car diver Vanni Pasquali and his lifelong friend, Franco Allegrini, one of Northern Italy’s most influential winemakers. Pasquali made it his next challenge to return to the region of his childhood and breathe new life into his father’s land in Valpolicella Classico. Recognize the colour scheme? Pasquali’s vision for Vantorosso comes not only from a respect for the art of winemaking but also from his lifelong dream of racing for an Italian car manufacturer. Perhaps Ferrari?

The Soave wine producing area is characterized by rich, rolling hills and volcanic soils, the ideal environment for cultivating the indigenous Garganega variety. The vineyards in the bordering Valpolicella has conditions that make it one of the most ancient and important red wine producing regions in the world. Across all its vineyards, Corte Adami winery produces Garganega, Trebbiano di Soave, Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella and other local red small varieties. They also have wine with the Amarone della Valpolicella DOCG appellation, a dry red wine produced mostly from partially dried Corvina grapes.
