IRONWORKS Gin Noir Blackberry

What happens when you take organic blackberries, grown on Holland Farms over near Canning, Nova Scotia, pick them late in the season when they're fully ripe and sweet, then blend them into Ironworks Gin? You get our Gin Noir of course. This delicious combination is wondrously full of blackberry flavour with all of the freshness of our London Dry styled gin.

Cocktail Suggestion

ANNE-MARIE'S GIN SOUR

Our organic blackberries come from Holland Farms near Canning in the Annapolis Valley. They are dark and delicious and on their own make a delightful liqueur. Last fall we decided that combining gin and blackberry might be a match made in heaven and we weren't wrong! The result is our newest invention - sort of a Nova Scotian version of Sloe Gin perhaps? This Gin Sour recipe was created for us by the very talented Anne Marie Bungay-Larose, bartender and creative mixologist from the esteemed Dartmouth eatery "Dear Friend Bar"

INGREDIENTS

1 egg white

1 oz fresh lemon juice

3/4 oz simple syrup (equal parts water and white sugar)

2 oz Ironworks Gin Noir

PREPARATION

Shake hard and strain into a Martini or Coupe glass.
