On the Label

Pagano is all about embracing the wild side of winemaking and breaking free from the old-school rules. The label shows an Ouija board where you can ask the spirit to guide you to discovering the mystery varietal. "A sip for us and one for those who are no longer here, spirit of the glass, if you are there, tell us which varietal is this wine we shall enjoy in your honor," pays homage to the tradition of toasting and honoring departed loved ones, infusing the act of drinking with a deeper sense of connection and remembrance.

Region & Vineyard Notes

Cuadro Benegas is located on a mountainous elevation near the town of San Rafael in the heart of Mendoza. The vineyards are planted in sandy loam soil, in the foothills of Sierra Pintada, 800 meters above sea level. Irrigated by the famous river Diamante, the vineyards are exposed to harsh weather, extreme temperatures, snowfalls, high thermal fluctuations in summer -- all ideal conditions for the cultivation of vines as they provide the wine of the region with a particular style.
